I don't know the name of the first flowers; I usually spot them as I drive the freeways, so I call them Freeway Flowers.

Those are beautiful. It must be wonderful to have all that happy color all around you. We are still in the middle of the ugly time of year...but there is hope, the hosta are starting to push their way though all the yuck. I just hope it isn't a little too early for them.
beautiful flowers...i thought surely they were from last summer. we are seeing a few daffodils here in n. alabama....but nothing yet like you've pictured. :)
At this time of year it's pure joy to see photos of what spring will eventually look like. Hang in there!
